“Peace be unto thy soul”
When we become members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, we are baptized. By being baptized we become member’s of the Lord’s restored church and make a promise to keep God’s commandments.
Which commandments? All of them.
Now this is not gospel doctrine, but the gospel as to how I see it.
I think one of the most challenging commandments God’s given all his children is “to endure to the end.”
We make this covenant with the Lord using all the faith we have at the time and all the faith we will develop as we endure.
I personally believe it is such an important commandment because it helps us understand the Savior more. He endured to the end because of His love for you — just you.
That amazes me and builds my faith one painful minute at a time. ❤️
